These Affiliate Program Terms ("Terms") govern participation in the Gentei Affiliate Program (the "Program"), operated by Gentei Store, Dizengoff Street 50, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel ("Gentei", "we", "us", "our"). The Program is managed through the UpPromote affiliate platform. By applying to or participating in the Program you agree to these Terms and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not apply.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You must provide accurate and complete information in your application and keep it up to date. One affiliate account per person; duplicate accounts may be removed. We review every application manually and may approve or decline it at our discretion, without an obligation to give a reason.
2. Your Account
Your affiliate account, tracking link, and discount code are personal and may not be sold or transferred. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login details secure.
3. Tracking and Attribution
Approved affiliates receive a unique tracking link and a personal discount code. A sale is attributed to you when a customer places an order through your link within 30 days of clicking it (last click), or uses your personal code at checkout. Attribution is determined by the records of our affiliate platform, which are decisive absent a proven technical error. We cannot credit sales retroactively where the link or code was not used.
4. Commissions
Your commission is 5% of the net sale amount of each qualifying order. The net sale amount is the product subtotal actually paid by the customer after discounts, and it excludes shipping charges, taxes, duties, and gift card purchases.
No commission is earned on: orders that are cancelled, refunded, or charged back; fraudulent or test orders; orders you place yourself or on your own behalf ("self-referrals"); and orders that breach these Terms. If an order is refunded or charged back after a commission was recorded, the commission is reversed.
5. Approval and Payouts
Recorded commissions are approved once the 30 day return window of the related order has closed and the order has not been cancelled, refunded, or disputed. Approved commissions are paid monthly via PayPal or bank transfer, according to the payment details in your affiliate profile. The minimum payout is 25 USD; smaller balances roll over to the next month. You are responsible for providing correct payment details, for any fees or currency conversion applied by PayPal or by the banks involved, and for all taxes due on your commissions.
6. Promotion Guidelines
You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship with Gentei wherever you share your link or code, as required by the US FTC Endorsement Guides and equivalent local rules (for example "ad", "affiliate link", or a similar clear statement). Your promotion must be truthful: do not invent discounts, delivery times, stock levels, or product claims that we have not published.
You may promote using product photos and assets we provide, and original photos or videos of the products that you create yourself.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Self-referrals and purchases made through your own link or code.
- Spam of any kind, including unsolicited bulk email and comment spam, and any misleading or deceptive promotion.
- Bidding on "Gentei" or on the names of the franchises we carry in paid search advertising, or using them in domain names, account handles, or app names.
- Posting your discount code on coupon or deal aggregator websites.
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, or any other manipulation of tracking.
- Presenting yourself as Gentei, or stating or implying that you or Gentei are affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by any anime rights holder.
- Placing our links in content that is unlawful, hateful, adult, or infringing.
8. Intellectual Property
All character names, series titles, logos, and artwork associated with the products are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners, and the merchandise we sell is officially licensed. You may show and describe the products in your content, but you may not use franchise logos or artwork as your own branding, create or sell derivative designs or merchandise, or modify official artwork. Assets we provide are licensed to you only for promoting Gentei while you participate in the Program. If you publicly post content promoting the products, you allow us to reshare that content on our own channels with credit to you.
9. Termination
You may leave the Program at any time by emailing service@gentei.store. We may suspend or terminate your participation at any time, including for a breach of these Terms. After termination you must stop using your link, code, and our assets. Approved, unpaid commissions above the minimum payout are paid in the next monthly cycle, except that commissions obtained through fraud or a material breach of these Terms are forfeited.
10. Relationship
You participate as an independent party. Nothing in the Program creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship, and you have no authority to make commitments on behalf of Gentei.
11. Changes to the Program
We may change commission rates, these Terms, or any aspect of the Program, or discontinue it, by posting an update on this page or notifying you by email or through the affiliate platform. Changes apply to sales made after the change takes effect. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Disclaimer and Liability
The Program and the affiliate platform are provided "as is", and we do not guarantee any level of earnings, or uninterrupted or error free tracking. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Program will not exceed the commissions payable to you for the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them, without depriving you of mandatory protections you hold under the laws of your country of residence.
