This Affiliate Program Privacy Policy explains how Gentei Store, Dizengoff Street 50, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel ("Gentei", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you apply to or participate in the Gentei Affiliate Program (the "Program"). It supplements our general Privacy Policy, which applies to your use of gentei.store. You can reach us at service@gentei.store.

1. Information We Collect

Application details - name, email address, country, your social media or website links, and the audience information you share with us.
Account details - your affiliate profile, login information, tracking link, and discount code.
Payment details - the PayPal address or bank account details you provide for payouts and, where required, tax related information. We do not store card numbers.
Performance data - clicks on your link, referred orders, and commissions recorded, approved, reversed, and paid.
Communications - messages you exchange with us about the Program.
Automatic data - when you use the affiliate platform, device and usage information such as IP address and browser type is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

Running the Program - reviewing applications, providing your link and code, tracking referred sales, and calculating and paying commissions (performance of a contract).
Communication - Program updates, payout notices, and answers to your questions (performance of a contract and our legitimate interest).
Fraud prevention - detecting self-referrals and manipulated tracking, and protecting the Program (our legitimate interest).
Legal compliance - accounting, tax, and responding to lawful requests (legal obligation).

3. Affiliate Tracking

When a customer clicks your affiliate link, a cookie is placed on their device so that purchases made within the attribution window can be credited to you. Information about referred customers and their orders is handled as described in our general Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. As an affiliate you see your own referral and commission data; we do not provide you with customers' contact details.

4. How We Share Information

Affiliate platform - the Program runs on UpPromote, operated by Secomapp, which processes affiliate data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments.
Payouts - PayPal or the banks involved in your transfer, to send your commission payments under their own privacy policies.
Our store platform - Shopify, which powers gentei.store and the order data used for attribution.
Legal and business - professional advisers and authorities where necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

We do not sell affiliates' personal information.

5. International Transfers

We are based in Israel, and our service providers process data in other countries, including the United States. Israel is recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. Where personal information is transferred from the EEA or the UK to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information while you participate in the Program and afterwards as needed for accounting, tax, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal exceptions. To exercise these rights, email service@gentei.store. We may verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The Program is open only to individuals aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 in connection with it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and material changes will be communicated through the affiliate platform or by email.
